Three new executive appointments at Alila Hotels and Resorts


Leading boutique hotelier, Alila Hotels and Resorts, has announced the appointment of three new Executives at their properties in Indonesia: Irra Malik at Alila Villas Soori (Bali), Alasdair Davidson at Alila Ubud (Bali) and Joshua Torai at Kemang Icon (Jakarta).

Irra Malik joined Alila Hotel and Resorts in 2009 as Resident Manager at Alila Villas Soori as a key member of the opening team. Irra has now been promoted to General Manager, taking the helm at the west coast Balinese all villa resort. She has over 17 years’ experience in the hospitality industry having worked with leading hotel groups including Ritz-Carlton, InterContinental and Hyatt International in both Indonesia and London.

Alasdair Davidson is also an established member of the team having worked with Alila Hotels and Resorts for 3 years. Alasdair has more than 20 years international experience acquired in the Maldives, India, Australia and Fiji. He joins Alila Ubud from Alila Diwa Goa in India where he held the position of Executive Assistant Manager. Alasdair has now been appointed Hotel Manager at Bali’s iconic Alila Ubud.

Joshua Torai has been appointed Hotel Manager for the Kemang Icon in Jakarta. As a new addition to the Alila team, Joshua brings a wealth of expertise from his earlier experience with renowned hotel groups including Aman Resorts, Atlantis Palm Jumeirah and the Shangri-La Group. Originally from Singapore, Joshua has worked all over the world, including Turks & Caicos, Seychelles, Dubai and Europe.

Irra, Alasdair and Joshua will be in charge of overseeing the day-to-day operations and business performance of their respective properties.
