Global hospitality management company Swiss-Belhotel International has been recognized as Indonesia's Leading Global Hotel Chain at the Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards for the 4th time, cementing the company's dominant position in the booming Indonesian hospitality market.
The Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards ceremony took place on 16 December 2013.
Swiss-Belhotel International's Chairman and President, Mr Gavin M. Faull, said he was delighted with the award which consolidates the company's leadership position in Indonesia, where it operates 37 hotels, has another 57 under development.
"Indonesia continues to enjoy strong economic growth and we are proud to be a positive influence on the sustained expansion of the country's travel and tourism industry," said Mr Faull.
"One of our guiding principles is to work in partnership with local economies for mutual benefit. It is this win-win strategy that has been at the cornerstone of our sustainable development as a company and will continue to fuel our growth," he said.
Internationally, Swiss-Belhotel International is very active with recent openings in Vietnam and New Zealand, with the Middle East also very much on the fast-growing hotel management company's radar with two openings set for next year in Bahrain and Oman, followed by two more in Iraq and Saudi Arabia in 2015.
Swiss-Belhotel International's portfolio currently comprises more than 120 hotels and resorts ranging from two- to five-star brand classifications across Asia and the Middle East. The company was recently recognized in the list of the world's top 100 hotel groups compiled by hospitality industry publication, HOTELS Magazine.
