Vistara have announced this week that it will service two new cities, Goa and Hyderabad starting from February 20 and March 1, 2015 respectively.
Since its beginning, Vistara has scaled up significantly, going from 68 frequencies to operating 164 frequencies a week by March, 2015.
The historical city of Hyderabad is fast emerging as a corporate hub whereas Goa enjoys the reputation of being one of most coveted holiday destinations in India, making them natural additions to Vistara’s route network.
Tourism in both cities is thriving and Vistara believes that it can drive demand even higher with the unique product proposition it offers.
Vistara chief executive officer Mr Phee Teik Yeoh, said that Vistara has received an overwhelming response since its launch and is delighted to announce the expansion of its network.
“With the introduction of our new flights, we are in a strong position to enhance domestic air connectivity and provide the seamless and personalized Vistara experience to more customers in India. We are confident that travellers on these two routes will appreciate the unique value proposition we offer at a competitive price,” Mr Phee Teik Yeoh said.
Vistara started its operations in India earlier this month on January 9, and increased its flying capacity by 1.5 times offering multiple choices of departure and arrival timing to its customers in a timespan of less than a month.
