Changi Airport takes Asia’s Leading Airport crown at World Travel Awards
Changi Airport has been voted Asia’s Leading Airport for an unprecedented tenth year in succession at the World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2015.
Teng Hwee Onn, Senior Vice President, Changi Airport, received the trophy on behalf of the Singaporean gateway during a glittering event at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong this evening.
“Singapore Changi Airport is honoured to be named Asia’s Leading Airport once again, bearing testimony to our commitment to provide top-class service for all passengers.
“The award further motivates all of us at Changi Airport to challenge ourselves on creating an even better travel experience for our passengers,” Teng Hwee Onn.

Changi Airport is the world’s seventh busiest airport for international traffic.
It served a record 54.1 million passengers from around the globe in 2014.
More than 350 retail stores and 160 food and beverage outlets are situated across three terminals to cater to passengers and visitors.
With over 100 airlines providing connectivity to 320 cities worldwide, Changi Airport handles about 6,600 flights every week, or about one every 90 seconds.
