The world renowned Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Jomtien, Pattaya, Thailand has once again set an unprecedented achievement by being awarded FIVE “Best of Awards of Excellence 2009” by New York’s Wine Spectator for the second successive year!

The resort previously held the record in 2008, being the first institution anywhere in the world to have been awarded five awards in one calendar year but has now surpassed this impressive achievement, with another clutch of these prestigious accolades with this astounding achievement already been acknowledged by many wine enthusiasts, winemakers and wine writers around the world.

The winning restaurants are the Grill Room & Wine Cellar (International grilled specialties) with 7 previous awards, Rossini (Italian cuisine) with 6 previous awards, Chrysanthemum Palace (Cantonese cuisine) with 4, and with both Larn Thong (classical Thai) and Caprice (contemporary European cuisine) with their 2nd awards.
