On the 15th December 2009, the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Jomtien-Pattaya welcomed the return of two Russian superstars in Mikhail Yuzhny who had just played British Andy Murray and Nikolay Davydenko, the winner of the 2009 ATP World Tour Finals for a practice camp being held at the Royal Cliff Sports & Fitness Club, a world club facility of the Resort.

The camp is held every year in which the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) players take part, providing the two sporting icons, ranked 19th and 6th in the world respectively an opportunity for them to warm up and take on their rivals in the upcoming tennis season.

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort offers extensive facilities for the tennis camp with 7 floodlit tennis courts and Plexipave surface, 2 air-conditioned squash courts, 5 swimming pools, 2 spas as well as a 4 hole pitch and putting green.

The Management of the Resort hosted a reception to welcome back the returning stars.
