Keynote speakers announced for The Event Show 2016

As announced to the delegates of the MEA National Conference last week, we are pleased to announce the two keynote speakers who will spearhead our seminar program in 2016.

Chris Tillman – Program Manager for Event Technology at Google will be travelling from San Francisco to Sydney for our show. The topic of Chris’s session is ‘Event Technology at Google – Strategies for Empowering Events’.

Chris has spoken at several events in the states and this is his first trip to Australia. We are excited to be able to learn from one of the worlds leading experts in integrating technology into events. In this session Chris will be outlining the event technology strategies that Google employ for their events. To help our visitors Plan Better Events, Chris will also provide practical advice on how our visitors can implement these technologies. Chris’s session will open our show at 8.30am on Thursday 25 August.

Chris will also be hosting an exclusive MEA Member workshop on Monday 29 August. Details for this event will be released to our members shortly.

Our second keynote speaker is internationally renowned Peter Jones, Managing Director of Peter Jones Special Events. Peter will be kicking off day two of our show and presenting some case studies of his favourite events.
Peter’s favourite events are not just those memorable moments we all know him for, but those events that exceeded clients expectations and those that left long lasting impressions on the participants of those events.

Peter has been committed to the professional development of our industry and will continue this passion at The Event Show by providing practical tips to our visitors on how they can make their events as special as his.

These two keynote speakers will provide the back bone to our seminar program which will help our visitors Plan Better Events. Further information on the other sessions and workshops I our seminar program will be available shortly.
