There was no queue at the Cobalt Air check-in counters at Larnaca Airport. As previously informed via e-mail several days earlier, the flight today was undertaken on the aircraft of Air Mediterranean.
The flight departed Larnaca on time and arrived in Paris 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
This Air Mediterranean plane had a 3-3 configuration in an all-Economy Class B737 aircraft. The cabin was clean and the flight attendants attentive. The flight was about half full, so there was room for passengers to stretch out. Seats in emergency row 12 provided extra legroom.
Food And Beverage
Food and beverages are available for purchase on board Cobalt Air flights; a menu of options is provided at every seat.
There were no entertainment systems on the plane, so passengers entertained themselves with their own electronic devices or with books or magazines.
The flight arrived at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Exit from the aircraft took place in a timely manner and there was not a long wait at Immigration or Baggage Claim.
The airline that has been assigned IATA designator CO previously used by Continental Airlines is itself becoming quite continental with an expanding flight network encompassing major European cities such as London, Dublin, Paris, Madrid, and Zurich, the latest addition to the Cobalt route map. With the Cypriot city of Paphos named as a European Capital Of Culture for 2017, it is a particularly good time to visit Cyprus during this year’s enhanced calendar of events.
