This enabled THAI to raise substantial funds that lead to Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) reincluding THAI in its index during the second week of November 2010 that is a benchmark for international investors, putting THAI shares amongst 1,500 globally recognized companies. Additionally, the well-respected financial magazine for Asia, The Asset, has named THAI as Best Deal of the Year in Thailand in the Asset Asian Awards 2010, whose distribution is to leaders of the financial industry and has its own social network for financial industry executives, The Asset Network.

The capital raised from the public offering will increase THAI’s financial strength and flexibility, improve competitiveness of THAI’s fleet by executing comprehensive re-fleeting and aircraft retrofit programs.
