Burj Al Arab on St Patrick’s Day!

Burj Al Arab, the jewel in the crown of the Jumeirah Group joined other world renowned structures like the Empire State Building in New York, Table Mountain in Cape Town, CN Tower in Toronto and the London Eye to illuminate the night sky with a stunning green glow on St. Patrick’s Day.

The greening of the iconic buildings around the world is an initiative started last year and led by Tourism Ireland. Amanda Burns, General Manager Tourism Ireland, Middle East and Asia, said: "St Patrick’s Day is a truly unique opportunity to showcase Ireland; and celebrate the diversity of our culture and heritage and the friendliness of our people, to a huge audience across the globe. Our aim on this day is to connect everyone and to bring a smile to the world.

And what better way to do this than by "greening" the spectacular and iconic Burj Al Arab in Dubai, a building recognized and admired around the world. We are honoured and delighted that Burj Al Arab will be part of this celebration"
