You can feel the excitement in the air; 2-star Michelin Chef Manuel Martinez, creator of the culinary DNA at Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant is coming back for the first time since our renowned restaurant opened six years ago!
The chef and owner of the historic 2-Michelin-star Le Relais Louis XIII restaurant in Paris, and holder of the prestigious ‘Un des Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ title (One of the Best Craftsmen of France), Chef Manuel Martinez is an acknowledged master of French cuisine. As the creative force behind Scarlett’s original menu in 2012, the gifted chef was the key ingredient for our success and has continued to be our inspiration.
From 28th August to 1st September, we are thrilled to welcome 2-star Michelin Chef Manuel Martinez back to Scarlett. The legend of French cuisine will take over our kitchen to create an irresistible epicurean feast featuring delectable à la carte menus and chef’s tasting menu, all created under his farm-to-table concept.
Highlights will include exquisite dishes such as tomato gazpacho served with red pepper mousse and sourdough croutons, mouthwatering organic tomato stuffed with Alaskan king crab, vegetable croquant, confit tomato pulp topped with extra virgin olive oil and refreshing gambas soufflé with citrus dressing. While delicious Brittany scallop mousse served with Bouchot mussels marinière emulsion, and smoked herring caviar, tender braised veal sweetbread served with girolles mushrooms, succulent charcoal grilled beef tenderloin served with bone marrow and shallots, or Mediterranean pan-seared tuna, and Provençale ratatouille with fennel emulsion are other treasures worth devouring. Finish with wonderful desserts such as mango chutney served with rose ice cream, cottage cheese and black pepper geleé, and a dessert trolley with Saint Honoré cake, classic Paris-Brest, French baba au rhum, and French cheesecake.
