As part of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism push to increase traffic between Melbourne and Bali, in conjunction with Helloworld and Malindo Air, we had held a series of activations in Melbourne at Myer activation fountain Chadstone Shopping Centre, 24th- 30th September 2018 and at Main atrium, Chadstone Shopping Centre, 2nd – 7th October 2018.

The activations are intended to introduce Helloworld’s land packages and Malindo air’s new Melbourne – Denpasar service opened in June 2018 and promotions are taking place both through activations in Chadstone and across entire Helloworld stores Australia wide and online.

“Through our integrated promotions involving some 2,300 Helloworld branded and non-branded stores across Australia along with activations in Chadstone we are looking to not only introduce Malindo’s service to general public that includes Malindo’s ample leg rooms, and good service but we are also looking to reach out to Malindo’s target market and offer them with great air and land packages offered through Helloworld” said Adella Raung, Director for Australia market development of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism.

Furthermore, the integrated promotions between Wonderful Indonesia – Malindo air – Helloworld will strengthen the Australians love affair with Bali through introducing the other side of Bali and Indonesia.

In their own words Siam Nugraha, the Executive VITO (Visit Indonesia Tourism Officer) for Australia and Emil Ridwan, VITO Country Manager Australia for Melbourne say, “We are pushing the message that there are more to Bali than Kuta beach, we have 3 nusa islands, Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan in Bali as well as the 3 Gilis in the nearby island of Lombok which are all accessible by motorised boat and ferry”

Malindo offer daily service between Melbourne – Denpasar with B737-800, with the Melbourne – Denpasar service opening this will be the third Australian cities beside Perth – Denpasar and Brisbane – Denpasar services they flown from.
