One of downtown Bangkok’s newest hotels and certainly among its most stylish, Novotel Bangkok Fenix Silom, announces appointment of Robert Atlee as the property’s new general manager.
Mr Atlee brings to the position extensive hospitality industry experience gained across the Asia-Pacific region, including in Australia, Vietnam, China, The Philippines and Malaysia. He began employment with Accor Group in 1999, and counting among his most recent work is crucial pre-opening duties in China as general manager of Pullman Guiyang, while just prior to that he served as general manager of the former Mercure Palm Resort in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
In his new post as of 6 June 2011, Robert Atlee takes over a leading light in the already prominent Silom district of Thailand’s capital. The area comprises major commercial sites including numerous corporate offices in addition to many of Bangkok’s main tourist and nightlife locations.
