Thai Nguyen is in the busy days of welcoming guests from all over the world to participate in the exciting International Tea Festival, which will take place from 11st to 15th of November this year. Tea fans will surely enjoy the festive atmosphere at the normally calm Thai Nguyen city center and Nui Coc area. The period when the festival takes place is also the finest time in a year to savor a cup of tea.
This is the very first year Thai Nguyen in particular and Vietnam in general hosts the festival, yet it is promised to be an unforgettable one for visitors with abundant tea-culture-related activities: beauty contest, boat racing, folk music and martial art performances. Besides, an international conference on tea and an exhibition, which will provide visitors with beautiful views of Vietnam and its tea custom, are expected to fulfill visitors.
Tea cultural exchange among participating countries are also considered the most interesting parts of the festival. The countries will exchange their experience about growing, harvesting and making tea as well as their particular tea customs.
Aiming to introduce and promote Vietnamese tea products in general and Thai Nguyen province’s products in particular to both international and local visitors, at the same time to promote international tea trade among the countries, the festival is fascinating both to tourists, businessmen and foodies.
Together with the 10 countries, 30 provinces of Vietnam, 50 traditional villages and 25 enterprises in tea industry will join the festival. On this occasion, the delicately romantic mountainous province of Thai Nguyen is expecting 400,000 visitors to come and savor not only its finest tea but its hospitality and beautiful landscapes. You can be one of them too!
