In celebration of Chinese New Year, five major Hong Kong attractions – Ocean Park Hong Kong, Ngong Ping 360, Hong Kong Wetland Park, The Peak Tram & Sky Terrace and Madame Tussauds Hong Kong – jointly present “Hong Kong Attractions Fun Deals” throughout 2012. Other than the endless edutainment, fun and laughs, the special deals also help visitors to save more for red packets, meals and outings amid the doom and gloom.

From January 1 to December 31, 2012, guests who visit one of the five attractions are entitled to a 10% admission discount by simply presenting the ticket stubs at any of the other four attractions. Redemption period for valid tickets from the five attractions will be extended to January 31, 2013.

“Hong Kong Attractions Fun Deals” has been very popular this year with over 16,000 guests benefiting from the exclusive discounts. To keep the fun going, the participating attractions will extend the promotional offer for another year.

Hong Kong’s beautiful landscape combining coastlines and greeneries ensures a perfect weekend getaway with both experimental learning and endless entertainment for family visitors and leisure travelers.

Try out six heart-pounding mechanical rides at Ocean Park’s new Thrill Mountain – including Hong Kong’s first floorless roller coaster reaching up to 88 kilometres per hour. Visitors will feel the rush of adrenaline as they enjoy a carnival of excitement overlooking South China Sea. To chill out, explore the mysterious ocean depths at Aqua City or visit exotic animals from the Amazon at the Rainforest.

For nature lovers, the Crystal Cabins of Ngong Ping 360 cable cars will take your breath away with an unobstructed birds-eye view looking over the Lantau North Country Park, and don’t forget to take that Kodak moment with the world’s tallest seated outdoor Buddha with friends and family. The Hong Kong Wetland Park also offers something natural, educational and colourful, where guests can see countless winter migratory birds, including the most distinctive species during its Bird Watching Festival.

Visitors who prefer something closer to downtown can take the Peak Tram up to The Peak and look over Hong Kong from its highest viewing terrace – Sky Terrace. As one of the most popular spots in Hong Kong, the view of the stunning Victoria Harbour and sprawling city skyscrapers looks as if it is within reach of your touch. Embark on a star-studded journey at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong and meet the red hot who’s who around the globe – from the ever-elegant Audrey Hepburn, Asia’s heartthrob Andy Lau, to the lovable McDull and Madame Mak, and countless more.
