On December 17 2011, Red Snapper Restaurant in conjunction with Thai Hotels Association (THA) hosted the first Annual THA Charity Event. Hoteliers, donors, suppliers and Samui dignitaries rallied round in the spirit of benevolence, for an elegant evening of cocktails, music, carols and inimitable Christmas cheer in the glittering décor of Red Snapper Restaurant.
Guests enjoyed succulent canapés by French Chef Sébastien Meunier – generously sponsored by All Star, Schmidt and Core Seafood – paired with some great wines from World Class Wines, Siam Wine Dee and BB&B, as well as some amazing cocktails sponsored by Diageo Moet Hennessy. The evening kept a lighthearted tone, predominantly with impromptu, but outstanding Elvis impersonations by a talented attendee. A raffle draw featuring remarkable prizes completed the evening’s festivities. Raffle prizes included spa treatments and dinners at some of Samui’s most sought after spots.
Given the resounding success of the event, it is THA’s hope that the upcoming years will provide even greater chances of improvement and lead the community into an age of greater responsiveness and generosity.
