THAI Airlines will move into London’s Heathrow Airport in Zone A of Terminal 2 on the 2nd July 2014.
It is currently based in Terminal 3 but will move over to Terminal 2 to join its other Star Alliance (SA) partners in the SA only terminal.
Mr. Chokchai Panyayong, THAI acting president said that THAI will offer continued comfort and efficiency by moving to Terminal 2.
THAI will be among the first airlines to move into Terminal 2, with its first flight operating from Heathrow’s Terminal 2 being TG911 on 2 July 2014 which departs from London Heathrow at 12.30 hours and arrives in Bangkok at 06.05 hours the next day.
THAI will continue to run Airbus A340-600 and newly refurbished Boeing 747-400 aircraft to and from Heathrow’s Terminal 2.
Terminal 2 in Heathrow is currently equipped with automated processes and self-service check-in desks.
